DPDI Passive Direct Box

Digiflex is proud to introduce the DPDI or Digiflex Passive Direct Injection box. Quality direct boxes are hard to find in today's disposable marketplace - either quality products are too expensive or the economy version is too fragile. Digiflex has found the perfect solution for quality at a reasonable price.

The Digiflex direct box is designed and engineered in Canada with the ruggedness and sound quality that rivals the more expensive units on the market. The Digiflex direct box excels in all these areas yet it is very affordable and will last for years to come. The chassis is a clamshell design constructed of 16awg steel. The connectors are recessed so the box can withstand drops onto concrete floors without breaking. The transformer can handle up to 25 dBU of signal at 60Hz and 1% distortion.

D-DISTRO: The Ultimate Modular Distro

The ultimate modular distro, the D-Distro-4 is ideal for stage power or amp racks.

Rugged CAT5e Cable

Digiflex has introduced a new rugged Cat5E cable which can handle the rigors of touring. The jacket is constructed of polyurethane which makes it one of the toughest jackets in the industry. We have chosen a stranded version to maintain flexibility yet still retain performance of up to 300 feet. Some of our competitors use standard installation grade Cat5E and put a soft PVC jacket over top. This is not as rugged as the Digiflex solution.

We also offer a shielded version but in most circumstances it is preferable to use the un-shielded due to capacitive build-up.

DDISO Stereo Passive Isolation Box

The interfacing of multiple audio sources allows the introduction of noise or the potential of ground loops. Transformer isolation is a proven technique for avoiding these problems.

Digiflex has designed a dual channel isolation box using high quality transformers encased in a rugged metal box with recessed connectors (XLRs in and out) and ground lift switches. Transformer isolation is the ideal solution for common mode noise rejection and can prevent RFI noise from entering the audio system.

DSPDI Stereo Passive Direct Box

The standard single channel direct box with ¼" mono inputs can be somewhat limiting with the variety of audio sources used today. Laptops, MP3 players and other types of audio sources are common place.

Digiflex has designed a stereo version of the DPDI with multiple choices of connector inputs. We have included a 3.5 mm mini TRS stereo input, dual RCA connectors and dual ¼" connectors which offer the end user a wide choice of inputs.

The audio quality of the DSPDI is of the same quality as the DPDI and will perform well under the most adverse conditions. Recessed connectors, ground lift switches and a rugged metal housing ensure that the DSPDI will last for years.
